The other night my sister and I went to the showing of Moulin Rouge! at the Garneau Theatre here in Edmonton.
This theatre, located on 109st, just north of Whyte Ave is one of my faves. The seating feels like an old Hollywood theatre and they always play an assortment of classic, quirky, documentary and independent films.
Tonight the Alberta Art Gallery was sponsoring the event. A new exhibit…
Last Sunday my dad and I spent 3 hours in our canoe on the lovely North Saskatchewan River!
My dad and I started canoeing a couple years ago and have only recently started traveling on the river. It’s always frightened us. However, as we recently kayaked in Hudson Bay with belugas during a rain/wind storm we figured it couldn’t be too bad on the North Saskatchewan.
We put the canoe in at Fort…
Last Friday, to start off my Labour Day long weekend I attended Symphony in the City. This event featured the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) putting on a free show in Churchill Square. The theme of the evening was Disney in Concert! I was excited!
Last year my sister and I went to Symphony in the Park at Hawrelak Park. That night was A Tribute to Hollywood and Broadway, or something along…
It’s the beginning of September and the beginning of my second year of grad school. My goal (and my supervisor’s) is to graduate next September. This is a deadline that both excites and terrifies me.

This is the full story of After the Bridge, a tale for those who might have wondered what Tessa and Jem did after they met on Blackfriars Bridge in the epilogue of Clockwork Princess. If you’ve been waiting to read it until it was done, it is now done.
Those who do not like Tessa&Jem together or Jessa sexytimes probably should skip this. (You will not miss anything that will affect your understanding of later books.) Those who like that sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like.
After the Bridge alternates POV between Jem and Tessa. This is Part Five, the full story. As this is one short story and not chaptered, each post will contain the whole story from the beginning up to the point where that part ends so that new readers or readers who don’t remember what happened won’t have to hunt down the previous post(s.)
AFTER THE BRIDGE : Now with (sexy) art by Cassandra Jean!
